Book Features Fahrenheit Among World’s Best Web Design Studios
LOS ANGELES, CA—May 22, 2006—Influential, high-end art book publisher TASCHEN has selected cross-media branding firm Fahrenheit Studio for inclusion in its new book Web Design: Best Studios.
Fahrenheit, comprised of the husband-wife creative team of Robert Weitz and Dylan Tran, is among 90 of the most prominent interactive studios worldwide in 30 countries, including 22 from the U.S. More than 3,000 studios around the globe were evaluated.
“We’ve won many awards and been on lists before but this is much different,” says Tran. “The book is part of TASCHEN’s ICON series. These are books designers buy to see what other designers are doing in the field. It’s a who’s-who of who’s-whos. We love TASCHEN’s books so it was a real thrill have participated in this project.”
Best Studios showcases Fahrenheit’s homepage (https://fahrenheit.com) as well as two portfolio sites: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and 48 Windows, a Santa Monica recording studio for which Fahrenheit also did architecture and interiors as part of the overall branding effort.
“These are professionals committed to both good design and results, and this is essentially making the web a better medium every day,” comments Editor Julius Wiedemann in the book’s Introduction. “It has much more to do with the way these professionals think and execute their tasks.”
