Horizon Interactive Awards Recognizes Fahrenheit Studio for Responsive Design
Branding and design agency wins “Best In Category” for its own web site Fahrenheit.com
LOS ANGELES, CA—May 15, 2012—Fahrenheit Studio, a new media branding and design agency, announced today that it has received the prestigious Horizon Interactive “Best In Category” Award for its Web site Fahrenheit.com. The agency’s design team developed Fahrenheit.com to showcase the numerous luxury and celebrity brands they’ve created. Their client roster features names like John Mauldin, IBM, Pearson Education, Virgin Records, Warner Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, The Rolling Stones and Ben Harper.
The Horizon Interactive Awards is an international competition recognizing outstanding achievement among interactive media producers. Each year, judges receive over a thousand of entries from all over the world. The Awards are truly by the industry, for the industry; a diverse panel of multimedia, graphic design and marketing professionals selects the award winners.
The winning Fahrenheit.com site is cutting edge for its category and the Web as a whole. Vivid, eye-catching design and visuals enhance the site content and represent the Fahrenheit brand. Interactive features like pop-out info buttons and highlighting rollovers allow users to better engage with the site and subject matter. On the ‘What We Do’ page, click-through storytelling and memorable images introduce users to the agency’s 5 stages of building a living brand. These include telling a great story, standing out from the crowd, choosing the right communication channels, building a community and evolving the brand as the market changes.
Dylan Tran, Fahrenheit Studio’s co-director, says that each generation of the studio’s Web site has pushed design and technology boundaries. “This site is part of a revolution in user interface design called responsive design,” Tran explains. “The interface responds to the user’s needs and reformats to fit their specific device, whether on desktop, iPad or iPhone.” This use of responsive design set the site apart for the judging panel, garnering Fahrenheit Studio their ninth Horizon Interactive Award to date.
